Kuma's Cheyenne of Coldwater Creek Alpaca Farms

The skin biopsy results on Kuma are unbelievable - 70 follicles per square mm!! And now we have proof of his ability to pass his great fiber stats on to his offspring - Dos Donas Fly Girl took the Color Championship at 2011 Nationals, Odelia Farms "Dreamie" took a 1st out of 12 at the Madison show in 2012 with an offspring from a purchased breeding, and our guy Kumar just took a 1st at the AOBA National Fleece Show! Don't miss the opportunity to get a breeding to this guy, he is really awesome! Kuma offers a wonderfully drapey fleece, and his fiber stats are amazing - 21 microns and 4.5 SD at 3 1/2 years of age! His luster is still outstanding, and his conformation is solid. Additionally, Kuma is out of a black herdsire, so we expect to get some great color out of this guy! It should be no surprise that Kuma is so fabulous - with Baron Lafite genetics on his dam's side and Renzo genetics on his sire's side, you can only figure that this guy would be outstanding. Additionally, this genetic combination is one of a kind as Kuma's sire passed away at an early age as did Baron Lafite. Based on the skin biopsy and histogram results, Kuma could be bred to any female - white or colored - for an upgrade to your herd. This guy is truly a superior Suri! And his EPDs suggest he is an ideal herdsire if you are looking to improve your SD as he ranks in the top 2% in this category. We will begin using Kuma in a serious way in 2016. As we only use one colored male a year over our colored females and one white male over our white females, it takes us a while to get to some of these guys!
